Computer Arts Archive Launch at EVA London 2020
The Computer Arts Society Introduces The Computer Arts Archive
On Monday 16th November 2020 at 6pm (UK time) we officially launched the Computer Arts Archive. The event took place on Zoom following the first day of the EVA London 2020 conference and featured short talks by Dr Nick Lambert and Dr Sean Clark from the Computer Arts Society and presentations from Brian Reffin Smith and Geoff Davis about computer art in the 1980s. We also launched an online exhibition of the Micro Arts Collection. Micro Arts features artwork make on ZX Spectrum and BBC Micro computer and was original distributed on cassette tapes and Prestel videotext.
